Associate Director

Liz read Architecture at Cambridge University, qualifying in 1996.

She worked for Purcell Miller Tritton in London, on historic buildings as varied as Hampton Court Palace and the National Gallery, then for David Lea in Wales, where she broadened her experience of more modern and environmental design using traditional materials.

On returning to Cambridge she was employed by Freeland Rees Roberts, using her full experience of historic buildings and modern interventions to work on a variety of College buildings, including the new Lucy Cavendish Library, where she acted as Project Architect.

Whilst bringing up her children Liz took on the role of office manager at Haysom Ward Miller, working strategically on the business side of the Practice, while also acting as chairman for a variety of community organisations.  In recent years she has returned to concentrate on her architectural career, bringing to her projects both her professional expertise and this wider experience.
