Lochside House shortlisted for 2018 RIAS/RIBA Awards


We were thrilled to hear this week that our Lochside House project is one of 25 new buildings in the whole of Scotland shortlisted for this year’s Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland/Royal Institute of British Architects Awards. We look forward to hearing how we get on as the judging progresses.

Dry stone walling underway

Beautiful dry stone walling at the Torridon house by Peter Summers using local Torridonian sandstone

Charred larch cladding largely complete

New house on site on the shores of Loch Torridon
The walls and roof are clad with Scottish larch boards charred using a variation of the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique to increase durability.

Historic building restoration almost complete

Original pamments and brick floors bring wonderful colours and textures to the interiors of this Listed Building.

Stretham show homes nearing completion.

The first few houses of a fifty house development have been constructed, they are open for viewing and have been very well received.
