Rural Wedding Venue

Work continues on our designs for a new wedding venue based around a stunning 12th century tithe barn and manor house. It's a very historically sensitive site; the barn itself is Grade 2 listed and we will be working closely with the local authority Conservation Officer and Historic England. At the same time, acoustics and servicing of the associated buildings need to be carefully considered from the outset to avoid disturbing local residents. An initial chance to explain the scheme to villagers was very useful and raised some helpful comments and observations that are now being fed in as we develop the scheme towards planning and listed building applications.

Scottish Loch House

Work is nearing completion on the Scottish west coast site. Charred Scottish larch cladding is weathering beautifully to tone with the hills, and the interior is really coming together. The stonework around the terrace is stunning too.
